Emergency Door Release are a four piece band from Newcastle. They formed in late 2011 and have already released their first EP “Who Are We” -23 March, for free download.

The EP “Who Are We” would be well received by fans of The Editors or indeed the Rifles. Full of striking guitar hooks, simple drum beat and lyrics that any would be able to relate to. In addition to James Rooney’s deep voice over the tracks brings the EP together and gives it that feel of an Indie/Rock record.

The EP is recognisably their first with room for them to find their own sound with in the genre they place themselves in.
