As the name suggests, this is an event which may make you question: ” are those involved off their heads ? ”  Well Off Your Head Pet is a charity event with a twist…

 

Kamille Davis, a fashion student from Northumbria University, is going to have her hair cut off live throughout the night of the event taking place at The Head Of Steam in Newcastle.

 

The night has been organised to raise money for Sam’s Trust a children’s charity who support families of children suffering from cancer and leukaemia as well as raising funds for The Little Princesses Trust, who make wigs for girls who lose their hair because of cancer and leukaemia treatments.

While Kamillle was promoting the event on Spark FM’s Local Music Show, she explained she decided to raise money for these causes just out of charity and having been inspired by their work.

To provide the sound track for the evening, lined up to play are three major acts including: Baron Von Alias & Mistabreeze joined by Bird Island and Tissue Culture. There will also be some comedy and surprises in store throughout the evening.

 

The plan is for Kamille to have her hair cut off in bits throughout the night by two of her friends ( using scissors and razors ) then to auction off the chance to cut certain bits of her hair off later in the evening. In all honesty, the guts she has to do this is incredible !

Before it all goes, she intends to dye her hair a few days before either bright blue or pink so there will be no missing her on the night.

 

Now for when & where … It takes place on March 31, at The Head Of Steam, Doors 7:30pm Until 10:30 and ONLY £4 on the Door, which is ridiculously cheap. So no excuse not to go along for a great evening of music and support such two great causes.
